This assortment contains eight sheets of Kizuki Somegami paper (approximately 8.5” x 11” sheets), a master sample sheet and a sheet of details about the paper.

Full sheets are handmade and have four deckle edges.

Kizuki Somegami is a thin, high quality, kozo paper. Developed particularly for chine-colle, it is appropriate for many other uses including drawing and collage. It is also strong enough to be used as a stand-alone paper for printmaking. This paper has a fine, even surface and crisp feel. The fibre is cooked with caustic soda and dyed with direct synthetic dyes. It is wonderful to be able to offer this paper, as good quality colour papers become increasingly difficult to source.
