Keisuke Serizawa was a Japanese textile designer. In 1956, he was designated as a Living National Treasure by the Japanese government for his katazome stencil dyeing technique (Wikipedia)

This pattern has some of the energy of Serizawa's stencil work. This lively pattern of red with green, black and golden yellow has been hand-stenciled onto a handmade sheet of Japanese kozo wahsi / paper.

Sheet size is 24" x 36" with four deckle edges
