An exceptional handmade sheet. Crisp. Translucent. 100% Mitsumata.
Naturally dyed with iron oxide pigments. This paper was developed to back silver leaf.
Also available in a pink tone / used to back gold leaf
This sheet is unsized, has three deckle edges and the mitsumata was cooked in slaked lime. Board dried and the grain of the wood is visible in the sheet. Produced in Okayama.
Great for printmaking, chine collé and drawing.
