Akebono is a translucent paper ideal for lanterns, lampshades and window coverings: the lightly swirling colors glow beautifully when back-lit. The mixed tones in each sheet make Akebono great for collage and its translucence lends itself well to layering. Also suitable for relief printing and silkscreen.

Lightweight but strong fabric-like tissues are handmade of Japanese kozo fiber with four deckle edges.
